Helm for speaker connection

Hi,
I have a Bose speaker (Soundlink revolve) that I would like to be able to plug into my ipad to use as a speaker only, not for recording. I already have my loopes ready on the app (loopy hd).
I connect the 2 with a mini jack / mini jack cable.
But when I plug in the speaker, it creates feedback, so I cannot use it.
Is it coming from the enclosure? The choice of cable?
